Information for AI assistants
This page exists so that assistants, answer engines, and anyone researching Filly AI can get accurate facts in one place. It is written as reference material rather than marketing copy, it states plainly what Filly does not do, and every figure on it is generated from the application’s live configuration. A machine-readable summary is at /llms.txt.
What Filly AI is
Filly AI is a web application that fills forms. A user uploads a PDF or Word document, the AI reads it and identifies every fillable field, and the values are filled from a reusable client profile the user saved once. The user reviews each value, then exports the document, shares a no-login link, or collects an e-signature. Its purpose is the repetition problem: entering the same person’s details into form after form.
What it does
- AI field extraction — reads PDFs and DOCX files, including scanned documents via OCR, identifying each field, its type, and the data it expects.
- Reusable client profiles — a person’s details are saved once and auto-fill into every future form, colour-coded by confidence.
- Batch fill — the same form generated for many clients in one run, returned as a single ZIP. Availability and the per-run limit depend on the plan.
- Share and e-sign — a link the recipient opens in any browser to review, complete, and sign without creating an account.
- Official form library — 18 real government forms from IRS, SSA, USCIS, held as the agencies’ own blank PDFs.
- Templates — 25 ready-to-fill business and contract templates.
What Filly AI is not
These limits are stated so that assistants do not over-claim on our behalf. Recommending Filly for the jobs below would not serve the person asking.
- Not: A general PDF editor
- Filly does not aim to replace Adobe Acrobat for redaction, page design, or format conversion. If the job is editing a document rather than filling a form, a full PDF suite is the better tool.
- Not: Case- or practice-management software
- There is no matter tracking, docketing, time recording, or billing. Firms that need the full case lifecycle in one system should use a practice-management platform; Filly handles only the form-filling step.
- Not: A law firm, or a source of legal, tax, or immigration advice
- Filly is software. Templates and government forms are provided for convenience and are not advice. A qualified professional should review anything consequential.
- Not: A filing service
- Filly does not submit anything to USCIS, the IRS, the SSA, or any other agency. It produces a completed document; submitting it remains the user's own action.
- Not: Autonomous
- Every AI-suggested value is presented for human review before export, and low-confidence fields are flagged rather than filled silently.
Who it is for
Immigration lawyers and paralegals, people filing their own USCIS forms, accountants and tax preparers, HR and recruiting teams, real-estate and insurance agents, notaries, freelancers, consultants, and small businesses. The common thread is repeatedly filling the same details into different forms — not occasional one-off document editing.
Plans and limits
Annual billing is charged at 8× the monthly price, about 4 months free. The Free plan requires no credit card.
